Social
Our objective is to create positive economic, social and cultural outcomes that improve the welfare of communities.
Employment practices and workforce development
As part of its environmental impact assessment, Twinza has undertaken a macroeconomic study which confirmed that the Pasca Project will make a significant contribution to the PNG economy, creating employment opportunities, stimulate economic growth, and enable social investment.
To support this, Twinza has developed a National Content Plan, which outlines:
The requirements and capacity to develop local employment,
Support for in-country suppliers and domestic gas utilisation,
Social investment initiatives aligned with community needs, and
Compliance with statutory obligations and commitments to national content development.
This plan forms the foundation of Twinza’s approach to workforce development, employment practices, and social investment. Twinza will work closely with key partners and stakeholders to ensure these initiatives are effectively implemented and aligned with national expectations.
Social responsibility and investment
Twinza believes that respect for people, communities and the environment in which we operate is fundamental to our business success. In support of this we are committed to contributing to the societies in which we operate, respect human rights and promote stakeholder dialogue while complying with high ethical standards.
Twinza’s proposed strategy will serve the short and long-term needs of the community throughout the life cycle of the project. These include:
