Stephen Quantrill
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering), Bachelor of Commerce, and Master of Business Administration — all awarded with first class honours.
Fellow of FINSIA, Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an Engineering Executive Member of Engineers Australia (Chartered Engineer).
Experience and Expertise:
Having served as a Director since May 2014. Stephen has over 25 years of international experience in business ownership, company chairmanships, and directorships. His background spans public and private equity investments across the energy and natural resources sectors, as well as investment, financial and engineering services, property, and biotechnology.
Stephen is the former Executive Chairman of McRae Investments, a diversified investment holding company, and currently serves as a Director of ASX-listed Atomic Eagle.

Stefan White
Deputy Executive Chairman of the Board and Commercial Manager

Experience and Expertise:
Stefan has served as a Director since October 2021 and brings over two decades of experience in advisory, investment, and executive leadership roles. His career spans project finance, private and public credit, investment banking, and corporate restructuring, with a strong regional focus on energy and commodity markets across Southeast Asia and Australia.

Stuart Brown
Executive Director and Technical Director
Qualifications:
First-Class Honors Degree Petroleum Geology.
Experience and Expertise:
Stuart has served as a Non-Executive Director since August 2020 and brings over 35 years of experience across technical, managerial, executive, and board-level roles within leading international oil and gas companies, including Woodside Petroleum and Shell. His career has spanned operations in Australia, the UK, Africa, and the Middle East, with a focus on strategic planning, international business development, and regional advisory in the energy sector.

Julian Ball
Non-Executive Director
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Diploma in Corporate Finance.
Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants (England & Wales) and Fellow Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Hong Kong)
Experience and Expertise:
Julian has served as a Non-Executive Director since March 2014 and brings over 30 years of experience in private equity and investment banking across Asia. His expertise spans investment and portfolio management, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising activities, with a particular focus on the energy and natural resources sectors.

Ivor Orchard
Alternate NED to Julian Ball
Qualifications:
Master of Arts Degree in Economics and Law.
Barrister-at-Law of England and Wales.
Experience and Expertise:
Seasoned executive specialising in upstream oil and gas. Before joining Kerogen, he spent two decades in energy and natural resources investment banking, including as Managing Director and Head of the Energy and Natural Resources Group for Asia Pacific at JPMorgan, and earlier as a Director at CS First Boston in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to his banking career, Ivor held senior roles with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group, serving as Managing Director of Shell Companies in Korea and Deputy Treasurer of Shell UK Ltd, where he led corporate and project finance.

Erick Kowa
Non-Executive Director
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) and Master of Science (Oil and Gas Engineering).
Experience and Expertise:
Erick has served as a Non-Executive Director since September 2021 and has been actively involved in the Pasca Project for Twinza since 2014. Throughout this period, he has championed the development of the field within Papua New Guinea, advocating for outcomes that deliver mutual benefits to both the State and Twinza. Erick played a key role in negotiating the Pasca Gas Agreement and brings extensive experience in production engineering, project management, and the evaluation of gas developments across the Asia-Pacific region.
